Hope is the bird who continues to fly
Though there is no earth nor even sky
No reason to be nor why to stay
It sings it's heartsong anyway
Through violent storms and pounding rain
Hope soars high to sing again
Darkness as black as a moonless night
Hope swoops in beaming wondrous light
In hearts strong with faith above
Hope sails high on the wings of a dove
